Providence, R.I. August 20, 2005—Traction
Software, Inc., the leader in Enterprise Blog software, today announced
that Traction® TeamPage™ and Communicator™ products have been
recognized by KMWorld Magazine, for the second year in a row, as “Trend
Setting Products for 2005.” KM World says TeamPage is “a robust
enterprise blogging software that encompasses collaboration, document
management, and KM.”
From the September 2005 issue of KM
World, the editorial staff said, “The common thread running through all
the products listed below is the unique value—and potential value—they
offer the organization, its workers and their various
constituencies…And, in many cases, it is precisely the vision of
customers who implemented the products that qualifies them as trend-
setting by opening markets not originally considered by the vendor.”
Traction’s TeamPage is the leading software application in the growing
use of Enterprise Blogs. Enterprise Blogs enable corporations and
government agencies to manage large and disparate groups of employees,
customers, suppliers, partners and service providers in a common
content and information management system. TeamPage organizes and
manages content and information to improve productivity and
communication. Traction Software’s customers use TeamPage for
competitive intelligence, corporate communications and program
management, such as CRM, product development and partner relations.
Corporate Communication blogs include outward facing personal or group
weblogs, which are used to talk publicly with everyone on the
Internet. Competitive Intelligence and Program Management blogs
contain news, analysis, plans, issues and exceptions that are far too
sensitive to be made readable on the public internet without
authenticated, encrypted access, which TeamPage provides.
“Traction TeamPage is about getting knowledge into the hands of all
members of a team, both within and outside the firewall, in a way that
brings together all the applicable content in one, easy to manage
space," said Greg Lloyd, President and Co-Founder of Traction Software.
“TeamPage was chosen for this award because KM World recognizes the
unique power of an Enterprise Blog to make teams more effective and
drive business forward.”
Jordan Frank, Traction’s Vice
President of Marketing, is making presentations at the Info-X C2:
Collaborate & Connect conference this week in New York and at
KMWorld & Intranets 2005 on November 15-17 2005 in San Jose,
California. At the KMWorld conference, he will speak on the Future of
Content Management. Traction Software will also exhibit its
technology at this show.
